Job Title: Technical Director

Milo Productions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to join our team. As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our productions, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate production in various fields, including film, television, video game, radio, dance, and theatre.
  • Determine scheduling of production and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the process of hiring actors and crew members for the production.
  • Supervise staff or team and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the artistic aspects of production, including the design of sets, costumes, furnishings, and props.
  • Co-ordinate and direct the photography of production, including determining lighting, lenses, camera angles, and backgrounds.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that may arise during production.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of 3D graphic software, including Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3ds Max.
