Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Canada Royal Accounting Services Inc.

Job Description:

The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and reconcile accounts
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including ACCPAC, QuickBooks, and Simply Accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
Work Environment:

The Senior Bookkeeper will work in a head office setting, providing on-site customer service in an urban area. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
