This role will be accountable for the broad portfolio of infrastructure software and hardware spend models in place, maintaining service partner or manufacturer relationships to co-drive the ideal blend of agility, flexibility, process, and optimal spend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service owner of software / hardware asset management platform acting as lead escalation for operational issues that support other IT or business teams.
  • Oversight of licensing or other flexible use product quantities to ensure compliance and agility.
  • Partnership with other IT teams to ensure cloud or subscription licensing models are efficient, driving change where opportunities are uncovered.
  • SME for exploration of new services with cloud providers to assist with spend model and contract analysis.
  • Escalation point for operations impacted by licensing or asset management.
  • Maintain budget data for utilization and forecast to ensure resource spend is properly accounted for.
  • Consult with IT leaders to determine required licensing levels to onboard new product sets or adjustment activities to drive savings.

In order to excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of licensing models and contracts with major providers in a large enterprise environment. Additionally, experience with optimizing Microsoft licensing models, particularly in Enterprise Agreements and Unified Support, is preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on national averages. This range is subject to change based on location and other factors.
