About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Elevator Service Technician to join our team at Garaventa Lift. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our accessibility products and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and residential accessibility lifts
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with lift systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or elevator technology)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field (e.g. elevator maintenance, repair, or installation)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
