About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to join our Correspondent & Institutional team at Aviso Wealth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and delivering exceptional partner experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team focused on driving sales growth and delivering exceptional partner experience
- Meet sales goals and profit targets in alignment with the division's business plan
- Collaborate with senior management and other key stakeholders to define sales strategies and identify market opportunities
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with prospects to grow new business opportunities
- Manage and support a team that is focused on value-added solutions and reporting that meet and exceed our partners' expectations
- Delegate effectively and prudently, ensuring all skills and resources are leveraged to the best capacity and provide opportunity for learning and career growth
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize sales and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales initiatives with broader organizational goals and ensure seamless execution
Requirements
Your Experience and Skills
- University degree preferred
- 10-15 years in a sales role with financial and brokerage industry knowledge
- Completion of CSC and CPH
- Correspondent and Institutional experience dealing with Portfolio Management firms, CIRO & MFDA firms, and other Institutional firms in Canada and the US
- Proven relationship management and focus on value-added customer service
- Proven experience in sales prospecting and lead development
- Demonstrated success in directly leading a high-performing sales team
- Experience with establishing KPIs to ensure SLAs are met and exceeded
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information to different audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships both externally and internally
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with the insight to proactively provide solutions to our Correspondent partners
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to coordinate multiple projects/events simultaneously
- Fluent communication skills in English are required, and bilingual skills in French are an asset
