We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at Unitrak Corporation Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts with close tolerance.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, and vision care benefits, you will also have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production of parts.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to meet specific requirements.
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments.
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in precision machining, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with standing for extended periods.
