Job Summary:
Sunrise Farms is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the foodservice industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including key decision-makers and influencers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales materials to customers and prospects.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales data, and market intelligence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in food sales, foodservice key account management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Experience with sales software and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of the foodservice industry and market trends.
