Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher and Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the proper functioning of kitchen equipment, and supporting our culinary team in preparing delicious meals for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition, reporting any issues to management.
  • Maintain adequate levels of cutlery, dishware, and glassware, and ensure timely delivery to all outlets.
  • Keep the kitchen and dishroom areas clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support the culinary team in preparing meals, including cleaning, measuring, and preparing ingredients.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned, including recycling and garbage management.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with varying hours between 24 to 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • A desire to learn and succeed in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Food Safe certification or equivalent is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, turn, and stand for extended periods.
