About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Actuary Leader to join our Individual Insurance product team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic positioning of our Life and Health product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive profitable growth of our Life and Health portfolio, identifying opportunities to strengthen our value proposition.
  • Partner with Sales and Distribution teams to ensure effective positioning of our Life and Health product portfolio, with a specific focus on Participating Whole Life.
  • Develop content and tools needed to differentiate our product portfolio and bring added value to advisor conversations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and exceed advisor and client experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience with strong knowledge of insurance concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Investment knowledge of PAR portfolios and thought leadership on how to position for competitive differentiation.
  • Actuarial designation.
