About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Laborer to join our team at G & K Finishing and Renovation Ltd. As a key member of our renovation crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from project sites.
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed.
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials at job sites.
  • Removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites when necessary.
  • Providing assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
  • Strong physical stamina and endurance required for manual labor tasks.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a flexible schedule of approximately 30-40 hours per week.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 CAD, depending on experience.
