About This Role

This role requires a high level of expertise in payroll services, including client management, problem-solving, and communication skills. As a Payroll Specialist at ADP, you will be responsible for managing client payroll, serving as a Subject Matter Expert, and providing critical and accurate statutory information to clients in the payroll area.

You will utilize multiple tools and resources to develop accurate, comprehensive, and friendly responses to clients' inquiries regarding payroll practices and tax considerations. You will also maintain NPI National Payroll Institute) designation & attend all required departmental training sessions as well as demonstrate proficiency in learning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client payroll, overseeing scheduling and running assigned client payrolls by following standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert, providing critical and accurate statutory information to clients in the payroll area.
  • Problem-solve, working with internal technical support, various production departments, and additional ADP Service hubs to identify a resolution.
  • Develop knowledge, maintaining NPI National Payroll Institute) designation & attending all required departmental training sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years Canadian payroll processing experience
  • Minimum 5 years client service experience
  • Advanced internet and MS Office Skills (Word/Excel) required
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions/processes

Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
