The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Power Engineering Student to join our team in Peace River, Alberta. As a Power Engineering Student, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our plant, working alongside experienced professionals to gain valuable experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain steam generators to ensure optimal production rates
  • Assist in daily rounds and routines to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Learn and understand the layout, purpose, and operating parameters of the plant
  • Assist operators in equipment preparation and maintenance
  • Participate in safety programs and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Power Engineering Technologist Program
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (including GDL) with a clean driver's abstract
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
