Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our team on a casual basis. As the sole MRT on site, you will be responsible for performing general x-rays, BMD examinations, and mammograms. In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be required to perform administrative duties, including imaging-related data-entry and film library tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine radiographic examinations within the department
  • Document all communications with patients and healthcare providers in the electronic medical record
  • Administrative duties, including data-entry, report management, and film library tasks
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the imaging department
  • Maintain CME activity as per C.M.R.T.O requirements
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
  • Certification with the Canadian Association of Radiation Technologists (O.A.M.R.S. & C.A.M.R.T)
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography
  • Strong IT skills, including familiarity with PACS
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
