Aerospace Industry Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at IMP Group. With over 50 years of experience in the Aerospace industry, we take pride in providing top-quality structural components and assemblies to major clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machine shop equipment to produce, manufacture, and repair aircraft components according to customer specifications and Company procedures.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to determine output specifications and plan work procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance on work equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and charge hands to ensure smooth workflow and production scheduling.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formalized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience and training.
  • Knowledge of mathematics, mechanics, and safety precautions.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong interest in aircraft/aerospace production.
  • Global Harmonized System (WHMIS) course completion and aircraft blueprint reading skills.
