About the Role

CARFAX Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team in London, Ontario. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our products and services, working closely with our Development Managers and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop front-end applications using JavaScript, Web Components, and other technologies
  • Assist with back-end API's, websites, and applications using SQL, C#, and other technologies
  • Mentor junior developers to strengthen the team
  • Implement application architectural best practices when beginning new projects
  • Develop unit tests and integration tests
  • Participate in sprint planning with team members
  • Facilitate deployments using automated build and release tools

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or information sciences
  • Strong programming and technical computer skills in C#, MVC, JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Studio
  • Experience with CSS, mobile application development, responsive design, RESTful web services, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, Jira, automated testing, and deployment
  • Knowledge of Azure micro services, dependency injection, and SOLID design principles and patterns
  • Proven communication skills with technical and non-technical team members
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Collaborative and innovative problem analysis and problem solving
