The Newly Institute is leading a paradigm shift in the Canadian healthcare system by establishing a network of purpose-built mental health clinics across Canada.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Mental Health Specialist to join our innovative, multi-disciplinary clinical team in our brand-new clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to contribute to our mission of providing long-lasting change within the mental health industry, our community, and with our clients.

About the Role:

  • As a Child Mental Health Specialist, you will be working closely with children, adolescents, and their families to provide comprehensive mental health services.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, and chronic pain.
  • Our intensive outpatient programs offer rapid access, resolution, and return to work and healthy lifestyle programs.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree is required.
  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Psychiatry is mandatory.

About Us:
