Job Title: Addiction and Mental Health Recovery Worker

At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Addiction and Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery process for individuals with addiction and/or mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and modifying program options and opportunities that promote well-being for individuals and groups.
  • Provide emotional and functional skill-building opportunities as a member of an integrated treatment team.
  • Work collaboratively with other health and service providers to deliver community-based services.
  • Support clients in participating in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Current Non-violent Crisis Intervention training.
  • Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a Class IV driver's license.
  • Experience working in community mental health.
  • Familiarity with Connect Care.
