Key Responsibilities
  • Client Services
    • Conduct initial screenings of clients seeking admission, ensuring their behavior meets our standards.
    • Complete client intake forms and update client files as necessary.
    • Register clients, assign beds, and provide necessary amenities.
    • Provide meal tickets or prepared lunches according to approved procedures.
    • Conduct security rounds of the facility, checking for any potential hazards or issues.
  • Organizational Responsibilities
    • Demonstrate knowledge of our organization's policies and procedures.
    • Meet with supervisors for regular check-ins and evaluations.
    • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Model positive qualities, such as self-motivation, punctuality, and personal hygiene.
    • Commit to confidentiality and maintain the trust of clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education preferred, or a combination of education and related life experience.
    • Possess current WHMIS, First Aid, and CPR certificates.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
    • Ability to undergo background checks and screening.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent part-time position with 15 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is required, and shifts may vary according to the needs of the organization.
