Temporary Full-Time Position
Shepherd's Care Foundation is seeking a dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team at our Barrhead location. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing supportive living care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Provide meal service and mobility/transfer assistance in a safe and caring manner
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and autonomy
- Collaborate with the clinical care team to ensure high-quality resident-focused care
Requirements:
- Registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Completed Bridging Modules, if required
- Effective reading, writing, and speaking English skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
