Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Picture Framer at Michaels. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for creating a memorable framing solution for our customers, building strong relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Deliver friendly and personalized service to customers, helping them find what they need and providing solutions to their framing needs.
  • Framing Expertise: Create high-quality framing solutions using our framing equipment and glass cutter, ensuring timely completion of orders.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment, to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store for customers.
  • Omni-Channel Support: Assist with Omni-channel processes, including truck unloading and stocking, to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Cash Handling: Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards, ensuring accurate transactions and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Basic Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills and basic measuring skills to effectively perform job duties.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter, as well as lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching, as well as ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
Work Environment

Our retail store setting is climate-controlled, with some stock rooms and outdoor areas that may not be climate-controlled. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and colleagues, and may be required to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
