This is a hands-on position where you will own the design and development of significant system software components critical to our industry-leading database services architected for the cloud. You will be part of the team that architects, designs, and implements highly scalable distributed database systems that provide availability, reliability, and performance guarantees.

We are looking for a top software developer and systems designer with a good track record of delivering and excellent communication, leadership, and customer focus skills. A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise and ability to deliver a service that has a broad business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop significant system software components critical to our industry-leading database services architected for the cloud.
  • Architect, design, and implement highly scalable distributed database systems that provide availability, reliability, and performance guarantees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
