HMS Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Your expertise in diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment will be essential in determining the extent of repair required. You will also be responsible for adjusting equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts, and testing repaired equipment for proper performance. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work. Your specialization in mechanical transmissions, tracked vehicle suspensions and steering, wheel-mounted vehicle suspension and steering, highway vehicle tires and wheels, and brake systems will be valuable assets to our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Specialize in mechanical transmissions, tracked vehicle suspensions and steering, wheel-mounted vehicle suspension and steering, highway vehicle tires and wheels, and brake systems

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in various locations
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Travel expenses paid by employer
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
