Job Title: Technical Architect, Audience Data

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our Audience Data team at CBC/Radio-Canada. As a Technical Architect, you will play a key role in designing, shaping, and executing our visions on audience signals for the CBC Digital Strategy & Products department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver complex software solutions that are performant, scalable, and resilient.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge on integrated systems and technical components.
  • Provide technical leadership for medium to large-scale systems or implementations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize the development process and ensure operational excellence.
  • Lead design and implementation for various audience data initiatives, including support for SaS customer data platform (CDP), consent management platform (CMP), data management platform (DMP), customer relationship management (CRM), and other segmentation and activation products.
  • Help build robust and scalable solutions for integration and distribution of data.

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience in a senior development role.
  • Proven ability to develop in-depth knowledge on integrated systems and technical components.
  • Well-versed in architectural principles and key concepts.
  • Track record of promoting good architectural design and development practices.
  • Experience in data management: ingestion, integration, governance, modeling, storage.
  • Technical expertise in service architecture and other data integration patterns, API, and data query technologies.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and data management principles.
  • Familiarity with databases and their usages, as well as cloud-based services such as those provided by Azure, GCP, and Amazon.
  • Familiarity with architecture and integration patterns for high-throughput data transfer.
  • Knowledge in CDP, DMP, CMP, CRM, and general understanding of use of audience behavioral signals.
