About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients, adhering to established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Assess and Plan Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
- Coordinate Transfers and Discharges: Ensure timely and safe transfers and discharges of patients, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Safely store, control, and dispense medications and narcotics, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care, share knowledge, and support colleagues.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration and Certification: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health records.
- Additional Requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
