About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced rough carpenter to join our team at BENFICA CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and steel
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, with varying work sites and locations. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
