About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at El Patron Mexican Grill Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Help with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Support the dishwashing process, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and flatware are clean and sanitized.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies and ingredients.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and ingredients.
  • Help with removing kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience an asset.
