We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Walkers Restaurant.
Job SummaryThe Kitchen Helper will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food, including washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Assist with food storage and inventory management.
- Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment as needed.
- Assist with food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment an asset.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
