Senior Default Services Role

This senior default services role is an exciting opportunity to join our client's team in the financial services industry. As a key member of the default management team, you will oversee mortgage accounts in default and foreclosure, ensuring all processes are handled efficiently and on time.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage mortgage accounts in default and foreclosure, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with default attorneys to initiate and manage foreclosure actions, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Work closely with property and real estate managers to handle foreclosure-related tasks such as property inspections, maintenance, and security.
  • Maintain accurate records for all default accounts, ensuring proper documentation is saved and managed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, including mortgage servicing standards and foreclosure laws.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a mortgage default or mortgage foreclosure role.
  • A degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing regulations and default management processes.
  • Knowledge of Canadian foreclosure laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
