Job Opportunity:

The University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure-stream faculty position in the area of Health Equity at the rank of Assistant Professor. This is a joint appointment between the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) and Public Health Sciences (PHS) in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH).

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our faculty team and contribute to our research and teaching mission. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health equity and a demonstrated ability to conduct research and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in the area of health equity and contribute to the development of research programs and initiatives.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in health equity and related areas.
  • Supervise graduate students and contribute to the development of research projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty service activities.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant field and a strong background in health equity. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to conduct research and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
