Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Professor of Political Philosophy, with a focus on healthcare or health policy. The successful candidate will have a strong research background and a proven track record of teaching excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct innovative and independent research in Political Philosophy, with a focus on healthcare or health policy
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Political Philosophy, with a focus on healthcare or health policy
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program, with a focus on securing external funding
  • Contribute to the development of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto Scarborough
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Philosophy or a closely related field
  • Established research expertise in Political Philosophy, with a focus on healthcare or health policy
  • Proven track record of teaching excellence, with a focus on undergraduate and graduate students
  • Strong research program, with a focus on securing external funding
