About the Role:


We are seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Kelowna. As a General Practitioner in Oncology, you will work with a team of specialized surgeons, oncologists, and allied health professionals to provide high-quality care to patients.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Participate in the treatment and follow-up of patients, including curative and palliative treatment planning
  • Engage in clinical trials as opportunities arise
  • Work collaboratively with the Department Head of Medical Oncology and other members of the team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:



  • Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer and Kelowna General Hospital
  • Eligibility for appointment to the University of British Columbia
  • In-patient and oncology experience is an asset, but not required
