At Estiatorio Milos, we are seeking a skilled and charismatic Captain to lead our dining room team. As a Captain, you will be responsible for creating a memorable guest experience by fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Food and Beverage Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of our menu offerings, including ingredients, sources, and preparation methods.
- Service Standards: Manage pace and sequence across all steps of service, ensuring proper communication with FOH/BOH staff.
- Guest Relations: Develop relationships with guests, check in regularly to ensure satisfaction, and address any concerns promptly.
- Team Leadership: Train new hires on our service standards, menu items, and food/beverage pairings.
- Administrative Tasks: Accurately prepare guest checks, accept payment, and ensure side work is completed.
- Experience: A minimum of five to ten years' experience in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Experience using restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong food and beverage knowledge, ability to make rapid decisions, and excellent customer service skills.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental coverage. The annual salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $175,000.
