Cardiac Care Specialist

At Mackenzie Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for performing ECGs, reviewing strips for abnormalities, and monitoring patients during stress tests.
Key Responsibilities:- ECG Performance: Perform high-quality ECGs, review strips for any irregularities, and alert nurses or physicians if necessary.
- Stress Test Monitoring: Monitor patients during stress tests and notify the Cardiologist if any abnormalities are detected.
- Report Scanning: Scan reports and identify any irregularities in patient cardiac patterns.
- Certification: Hold certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists or equivalent.
- BCLS Certificate: Possess a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in hospital settings, specifically in ECG, stress testing, and scanning.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in stressful situations.
- Attendance Record: Proven attendance record.
- Patient and Staff Safety: Understanding of patient and staff safety policies.
- Empathy: Ability to empathize with others and provide an exceptional patient experience.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
