About the Role
Viking Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or college diploma in fire protection or building mechanics or civil engineering, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the fire alarm industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
