Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at SSP Canada. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious dishes for our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Handle and store food safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in a food service environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Food handlers permit and brand certification (as required).
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
