About the Role

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment and systems on an offshore drilling rig.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports for electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Calibration and Data Collection: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and collect and compile operational or experimental data.
  • Commissioning and Operation: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Diagnostic and Testing: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Offshore drilling rig.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 2190 hours per year.
