We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Jude Educator to join our team at the Medicine Hat YMCA. As a Camp Jude Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs to children and youth, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging educational programs that meet the needs of children and youth
- Build strong relationships with program participants, parents, and community partners
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., education, child and youth care, recreation)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and youth in a educational or recreational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
- A competitive hourly rate of $17-$20
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
