Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards, using only the freshest ingredients available.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Inventory and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize inventory management and minimize waste.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety standards, ensuring a comfortable and efficient workspace.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Schedule: A permanent position with a flexible schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
