About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Wolfville Nursing Homes Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents in a nursing home setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help with meal preparation and serving.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer of residents.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:
    • Continuing Care Assistant Certification.
    • First Aid Certificate.
  • Security and Safety:
    • Criminal record check.
    • Vulnerable sector check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information:
    • Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • Fast-paced environment.
