Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bridgeview Hall in Miramichi, New Brunswick. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, document, and direct resident needs through consultation with medical professionals, care conferences, and internal staff.
- Provide leadership to health services staff and oversee the provision of quality health services, respecting the client's right to individualized planning of health services.
- Work with existing management and health services teams to promote communication and compliance to policies and procedures.
- Administer and record prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice.
- Maintain the standards of accurate and complete documentation and reporting.
- Apply dressings and treatments according to physician's orders and policy.
- Assist with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other health care staff.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to our residents. To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Active registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN).
- Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts, inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid CPR & First Aid or BLS Certification (required).
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
- Advanced proficiency in the English language is required, proficiency in French considered an asset.
- Any previous course in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care to be a huge asset.
- Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset.
