Senior Engineering Manager, Security

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Application Security team within Security Engineering. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building and deploying secure applications, cloud, and robust privacy engineering platforms at Robinhood.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, coach, and mentor exceptional engineers to foster an inclusive environment that helps us unlock our full potential.
- Create and implement the technical strategy and roadmap for secure applications, cloud, and robust privacy engineering platforms.
- Define and track operational metrics, key performance indicators, and service level objectives to continually improve the efficacy and reliability of security services and controls.
- Build relationships with security leaders at Robinhood to ensure that capabilities are effective, instrumented, and meet the needs of our business.
- 7+ years' experience in security or software engineering.
- 3+ years' experience leading and developing engineers.
- Experience defining, delivering, and operating large scale cloud or security services.
- Ability to identify extraordinary talent and build a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills to discuss complex technical concepts with engineers and partners at any role or level.
