About Us: The Academy of Learning College is a leading institution in education, dedicated to providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen careers.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for implementing organizational policies and programs, coordinating the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and establishing objectives for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.

Supervision: You will be supervising a team of over 20 people.

Experience and Specialization: We require someone with computer and technology knowledge, specifically MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires you to work under pressure, have attention to detail, and manage a large workload.

Personal Suitability: We are looking for someone who is accurate, efficient, has excellent oral and written communication skills, is flexible, and can make sound judgments as part of a team.
