AirRoad Xpress Inc. is seeking an experienced Trucking Professional to join our team as a long haul truck driver.

Job Description

As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various routes in Canada and beyond. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of dedication and commitment to ensuring safe and efficient delivery of our cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving: You will operate a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials to various destinations. This may involve driving solo or in convoy with other drivers.
  • Loading and Unloading: You will load and unload cargo from the trailer, taking care to ensure proper securement and handling.
  • Maintenance: Regular pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections will be performed to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Basic maintenance tasks such as tire checks and oil changes can be performed on the road or at designated service centers.
  • Communication: You will maintain regular communication with dispatchers and other stakeholders to ensure timely updates on your location and expected arrival times.
  • Record Keeping: Accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption will be maintained.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: We will provide training to successful candidates who have little to no experience in the industry.
