Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Penske Logistics Canada Ltd. in Cambridge, Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a small group of hourly associates in a warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety and logistics procedures, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely and damage-free delivery of customer products
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Manage and control working hours and activities to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including inventory accuracy and control, returns, and damages
  • Lead shift safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness among associates
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use CRT, PC, scanners, calculators, and related equipment
  • SAP knowledge and working knowledge of MRP and JIT preferred
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
