This role requires a seasoned professional with 7-10 years of experience in data privacy or compliance, preferably in a multinational or law firm setting. A degree in Law and membership in the Quebec or Ontario Bar are essential, while certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or similar is highly valued.

We're seeking someone who can:

  • Review, design, and implement the Company's global data protection program and governance strategy, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations
  • Act as the main point of contact and expert within the organization for privacy compliance and stakeholder counseling
  • Develop and implement training programs to raise awareness of data protection and privacy issues among internal teams
  • Measure and monitor the effectiveness of tools and processes to drive compliance and recommend improvements
