Food Service Supervisor Job Description
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2602559 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed
* Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
* Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management
* Conduct quality control checks to ensure food and service meet our high standards
* Prepare budgets and cost estimates to optimize food costs and maintain profitability
* Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
**Requirements**
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
**Work Environment**
* Permanent position
* 40 hours per week
* Work language: English
