About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Supplier Quality to join our team at Gateway Recruiting. This is a critical leadership role that will be responsible for managing our global supplier quality team and driving our quality at the source initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Quality Management: Establish and maintain robust supplier quality processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a global team of supplier quality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Quality at the Source: Drive our quality at the source initiative, working closely with suppliers to establish robust processes and improve quality output.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners, including procurement, engineering, and supply chain teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance supplier quality, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Supplier Quality Expertise: Deep knowledge of supplier quality requirements, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including finance, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP HANA, SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and SAP Manufacturing Integration.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, engineering, or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in supplier quality management, with a proven track record of leadership and business results.
