About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rig Mechanic to join our team at Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited. As a key member of our offshore drilling operation, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
  • Operate Machining Tools: Fabricate parts and components using machining tools to support the operation of our drilling rigs.
  • Program PLCs: Develop and implement programs for programmable logic controllers to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Install and Operate Equipment: Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment, as well as other machinery and tools, to support the safe and efficient operation of our drilling rigs.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work Setting: Offshore drilling rig
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits
  • Language: English
  • Working Hours: 2190 hours per year
