Job Title: Nursery Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Supervisor to join our team at Satwant Pannu. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient operation of the nursery
- Plan and estimate labour and materials for projects
- Maintain accurate work records and logs
- Repair and maintain equipment as needed
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a nursery or greenhouse setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
