About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Rae Jessiman. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • General Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Transportation: Own vehicle and valid driver's license required.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and honesty.
